CALREC BRIO 36

The Calrec Brio 36 is a compact, professional digital audio mixing console designed for broadcast production and OB environments. It combines a 36-fader surface with powerful DSP mixing architecture and flexible I/O options.

DSP & Audio Architecture

Operating sample rates: 44.1, 48, 88.2, 96 kHz (full features available at all rates).

DSP legs (standard):

• 64 mono-equivalent legs (configurable as input channels / outputs / buses).

Assignable DSP paths:

Up to 64 legs as mono, stereo or 5.1 input channels.

36 legs for mains/groups (max 4 mains, 8 groups).

24 legs for auxes (mono or stereo).

64 legs assignable as insert sends & returns.

64 legs assignable as direct or mix-minus outputs.

Control Surface

36 × dual-layer motorised 100 mm faders with PFL overpress.

1 user-assignable rotary control per strip.

2 user-assignable buttons per strip.

6-band EQ on every input, group, aux, and main path:

• 4-band full PEQ

• 2-band LF/HF filters (12 dB/24 dB-oct).

Full dynamics per path including:

• Expander/Gate/Ducker (sidechain EQ, key inputs)

• Compressor & multi-band compressor.

Aux and Main paths have dedicated dynamics.

Automatic Features

Automatic Mix-Minus and Off-Air Conference bus for mix-minus control.
